WARRANTY TERMS
1) The warranty period starts on the date the product is delivered and is “2 years” for consumers.
2) The entire product, including all of its parts, is covered by the warranty (items excluded in the warranty certificate are not covered).
3) If the product is found to be defective, the consumer has the following rights under Article 11 of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502:
a- Withdrawal from the contract
b- Requesting a reduction in the sale price
c- Requesting free repair
d- Requesting replacement of the product with a defect-free equivalent, if possible
and may exercise any one of these rights.
4) If the consumer chooses the right to free repair, the seller is obliged to repair the product, or have it repaired, without charging any fee for labour, replaced parts or under any other name. The consumer may also exercise the right to free repair against the manufacturer or importer. The seller, manufacturer and importer are jointly and severally liable for the consumer’s exercise of this right.
5) If the consumer exercises the right to free repair and the product:
- breaks down again within the warranty period,
- is not repaired within the maximum time required for its repair,
- is determined in a report by the authorised service centre, seller, manufacturer or importer to be impossible to repair; the consumer may request from the seller a refund of the price, a price reduction proportional to the defect or, if possible, replacement of the product with a defect-free equivalent. The seller cannot reject the consumer’s request. If this request is not fulfilled, the seller, manufacturer and importer are jointly and severally liable.
6) The repair time of the product cannot exceed 20 working days. Within the warranty period, this period starts on the date the fault is reported to the authorised service centre or the seller; outside the warranty period, it starts on the date the product is delivered to the authorised service centre. If the fault cannot be fixed within 10 working days, the manufacturer or importer must provide the consumer with another product with similar features until the repair is complete. If the product breaks down within the warranty period, the time spent on repair is added to the warranty period.
7) Faults caused by using the product contrary to the instructions in the user manual are not covered by the warranty.
8) In disputes arising from the exercise of warranty rights, the consumer may apply to the “Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Court” in the place where they reside or where the consumer transaction took place.
9) If the seller does not provide this Warranty Certificate, the consumer may apply to the General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance of the Ministry of Customs and Trade.
10) When replacing spare parts under the warranty (free repair), the manufacturer may use an equivalent part and/or a part of another brand/model that may benefit the product.
